How to get to Jacana Safari Lodge
Situated on the North Kagera plains in southwestern Uganda, Jacana Safari Lodge is reachable from different big towns. From here guests get a 6 hour drive to the southern sector viewing rural Uganda, tea estates and rolling country side from the capital, Kampala. There are also options to fly to Kasese airstrip through Entebbe and it is only one hour road transfer to the lodge.
It is interesting that even to get to Jacana Safari Lodge, one has to have quite an adventurous experience. When people get to the park they can check around and get a glimpse of the elephants, buffaloes and antelopes and other wild animals that are found within the park. The last part of the trip passes through fascinating wooded landscapes and the tiny village-like centers of Uganda, so, the guests of this country will feel that they are in a country village even before getting there.
