Our 7 Days Uganda Adventure Holiday Safari leads you to the longest river in the world, popularly known as the “Source of the Jinja”, where you can experience boat cruises, water rafting, bungee jumping and many more. This trip will also take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half the remaining mountain gorillas in the world; engage in gorilla trekking; and visit Queen Elizabeth National Park for a boat cruise experience. The trip starts and ends in Kampala or Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from the airport and transfer to Kampala
Upon your arrival at the Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by our safari driver-guide, who will brief you about this Uganda safari. Then, after, you will be driven to your booked hotel in Entebbe or Kampala City. Arrive at the hotel and check in for dinner and an overnight stay at the Protea Hotel – Luxury or the Best Western Hotel – Mid-Range.

Day 2: Source of the Nile – water rafting
Wake up and have a delicious breakfast at the hotel; our safari driver-guide will pick you up after breakfast. Proceed to Jinja town with a stopover at Mabira Forest to encounter a forest walk where you can spot various monkey species, bird species, tree species and many others. Arrive at the source of the Nile in Jinja, one of the most developed industrialised towns after Kampala City. Check into the hotel, have lunch, and later go on the boat cruise along the source of the Nile or a white-water rafting experience if time allows. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Kampala and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stopover at the Equator to experience picture-taking. Continue to drive to the park and arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and relax a bit.
Later on, drive to the park in the Kasenyi plains to enjoy an evening game drive. During your game drive experience, expect to see various wildlife species such as waterbucks, elephants, buffaloes, kobs, and impalas, among others. Return to the lodge. Dinner and an overnight stay at Elephant Hub – mid-range

Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise
You will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge before heading out on the morning game drive in the Ishasha sector, expecting to watch tree-climbing lions and other animals, such as leopards, giant forest hogs, kobs, elephants, and topis, among others. Enjoy lunch at the lodge.
After having lunch, you will drive to Kazinga Channel, which links to Lake Edward and Lake George, to engage in a boat cruise. You will be able to cruise near various water species such as hippos, crocodiles and water birds, and lots of animals will be seen on the water banks quenching their thirst. Such animals are elephants, buffalo, kobs and many more. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Visit the Batwa people
Wake up and enjoy your breakfast from the lodge, then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector, where you will spot the tree-climbing lions hanging on the tree branches. Continue to drive the park. Arrive at the park in time for lunch and enjoy it at the lodge.
Later, go visit the Batwa community, where you will be able to enjoy their lifestyle through storytelling and dance. You will also learn how they prepare their traditional food and interact with them. Back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mahogany Springs Safari Lodge – Luxury, Buhoma Haven – Midrange

Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Wake up early and have a morning breakfast at the lodge; then, you will be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations. After the briefing, you will be accompanied by the skilled ranger to lead you through the forest trails in search of the gorilla family. Once you find them, you will be allowed an hour to spend with them, observing their behaviours, habits, feeding and play and enjoying taking photographs. After your gorilla trekking encounter, go meet your driver to connect you back to the lodge or opt to visit the Batwa trails. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 7: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe Airport
Wake up to a relaxed breakfast at the lodge before driving out of the park. You will depart back to Kampala with a stopover at Igongo Culture in Mbarara town, where you can experience the amazing Ankole culture with lunch en route. Arrive in Kampala in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel or any convenient place. End of the 7 Days Uganda adventure holiday safari.
