The scheduled flights depart from Entebbe Airport at around 7:00 am and 10:30 am, arriving at around 8:15 am and 11:45 am, respectively. Upon arrival at Kasese Airstrip, you will be picked up by our driver guide to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will check into the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Later, go for an evening game drive in the park, where you will be able to view animals like Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, buffaloes, bushbucks, and elephants, among others. After the game drive, transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

After an early breakfast, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the Kasenyi plains for a morning game drive or lion-tracking experience, where you will be able to spot predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas looking for a morning hunt and other animals like elephants, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, and bushbucks, among others. You will also be able to spot different bird species, as Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the national parks for birdwatching.

Later return to the lodge for lunch, after which you will go for an exciting boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, a 40 km long water body that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. During the boat cruise, you will be able to view large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water, view elephants and buffalo along the shores, and spot aquatic bird species, among others. After the boat cruise, connect to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

You will have an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver-guide to transfer to Kasese airstrip for your domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip. Upon arrival in Kihihi, you will be picked up by our driver guide to transfer to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure or engage in optional activities like a cultural tour, where you will interact with the local people in the neighbouring communities. Later, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park

After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge with your packed lunch to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing about the rules and regulations. After the briefing, you will be divided into groups of 8 people, where each group will be allocated a habituated gorilla family to trek, an experienced park guide and park rangers.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes about 2 to 6 hours, depending on where the mountain gorillas are located, because they like to move deep into the forest in search of food, and once they are located, you will be able to spend one hour with them, which allows you to take pictures, watch them carry out their daily activities, record videos, and more. After the face-to-face encounter with the mountain gorillas, you will return to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
