Slots are also allocated to only a limited number of individuals per day, thus it is quite advisable to reserve early and mostly during the peak seasons (June to September and December to February).
What Is Involved in the Experience?
Visitors will be led by the rangers and researchers on a hiking trip on a habituation day, where they will go earlier in the morning and locate chimpanzee nests before the chimps can open their eyes. The activity may take a maximum of four hours, during which the travellers will have time to observe the chimps at work during foraging, grooming, nursing young ones and socialising.
