Detailed 5 days chimpanzee trekking & wildlife
Day 1: Arrival at airport/ transfer to kibaale national park
On your 1st of your 5 days chimpanzee trekking and wildlife, you will meet your guide at the international airport, who will brief you few about the safari and then you set off to kibaale national park in south-western Uganda which takes about 5 hours’ drive. On your way, you will be able to see the beautiful scenic vegetation along the highway. You will be arriving in the late evening at the park gate, check in the lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: chimpanzee trekking in kibaale national park
On your 2nd day, you will wake up on your early breakfast from the lodge, meet your guide/ driver, he will drive you at the park headquarters to have small briefing about chimpanzee trekking, rules, regulations and the expectations from the activities. This trekking activity normally takes about 1-5 hours in the forest because the primates normally move from one place to another after your briefing, you will be divided into 6 groups of people and you will be given a senior guide who guide through the trekking experience and that can help you spot the primates. After spotting them, you will be given one extra hour to be with them study their feeding and behavior, then drive back to the hotel for lunch and some relaxation.
Bigodi swamp
In the afternoon, you will meet your guide again, who will take you through the nature walk in the bigodi swamp area which is well known for its birdwatching and cultural experience. During this nature walk, you will be ble to spot different primates which include; red-tailed monkey, black and white colobus monkey, and bird species like Great blue turaco, papyrus Gonolek, African pitta. Black bishop, Crowned Eagle, African Grey Parrot, blue- headed Nicator and many other then you will return back to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
You will wake up on your early breakfast from your lodge, check out of the lodge and set off to Queen Elizabeth national park which takes about 3-4 hours, drive through the beautiful crater lakes and Rwenzori mountain ranges, en-route for lunch in kasese town then drive to the park arriving in the early afternoon, check in the lodge. Then go for evening boat cruise along kazinga channel, different wildlife can be spotted like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, warthogs, which normally move to the lake during the hot condition, this boat cruise gives the sunset enjoyments over savannah. After your boat cruise the guide will drop you back to the lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: game drive & boat cruise
On your 4th day of 5 days chimpanzee trekking and wildlife, you will wake up on breakfast, meet your guide and start your early morning game drive with exploring the kasenyi plains, you will be able to spot the prime primates like lions, leopards, hyenas, and various antelopes. During this game drive you will also be able to spot the most common animals which include; Elephants, giraffes, elands, warthogs amongst others, after that, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and abit of relaxation as you wait for evening boat cruise at kazinga channel
Boat cruise
Afternoon, you will meet your guide again, then take the boat at kazinga channel, which is a water way teeming with hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and water birds which include; African fish Eagles, pied kingfisher, Great white pelican, African jacana, Grey Heron African spoonbill, saddle-billed stork, among other birds. After the boat cruise, your guide/ driver will take you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: return to Kampala
On your 5th day, you will wake up, on your last breakfast at the lodge meet your guide/ drive, check out of the park and start your journey back to Kampala. On your way, you will have a stopover at the newly constructed equator have some pictures and head to Kampala and he will either drop you at Entebbe airport or at your hotel depending on your next destination flight.
