Detailed itinerary of the 5 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari
Day 1 : Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
On day one, our representative guide will meet you at your location in Kampala and you greet and get to know each other. You will then embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will come across various attractions in your way to Queen Elizabeth national park and you will have a stopover for lunch and after lunch, you will proceed with the journey and you will have encounters with attractions like the rwenzori mountains and the plantations among others. After reaching Queen Elizabeth national park, you will check into a lodge, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 2 : Lion tracking and a boat cruise
You will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge and a guide will meet you at the lodge and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing and you will be given a ranger to escort as you head for a lion tracking experience in the kasenyi plains in the northern part of Queen Elizabeth national park. You will be able to see the lions and this lion tracking activity will take you about 1 to 3 hours. You will also spot other animals like the buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kob and many more. You will then be taken back by the guide to the lodge and you have lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise after briefing and this boat cruise will take place along the kazinga channel. The boat cruise at kazinga channel which connects lake Edward and lake George will take about 2 hours. While on the boat cruise you will be able to see a number of animals taking water along the banks and some of these animals include the buffaloes, elephants and many more not leaving out the crocodiles and hippos that reside there. You will see various bird species like the African fish eagle, African skimmers, hornbill and many more. You will then retire to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Morning game drive
On day 3, you will have breakfast and then link up with the guide who will take you for briefing and then you head to the Ishasha sector in the southern part of the park for a game drive. You will be able to spot a number of wildlife like the buffaloes elephants and many more including the tree climbing lions that are sheltered in the Ishasha sector. You will spot them hanging on trees. A guide will then transfer you back to the lodge and you have lunch.
You will spend the rest of the day at the lodge resting and you will in the evening have dinner and retire bed.
Day 4 : Chimpanzee trekking and a crater lakes tour.
On da day 4, you will have breakfast and a guide will pick you from the lodge and he takes you fir briefing before you head for a chimpanzee trek that will take place in the kyambura gorge. You will trek in search of the habituated chimpanzees with the ranger guide. This activity may takes several hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees. It may takes you about 30 minutes to 4 hours. After spotting them, you will spend and hour with them and get to capture moments like the way they feed and behave with each other. While trekking, you will also come across other primates like the baboons, red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many other animals including various birds and tree species. After the experience, you will be driven back to the lodge by the guide for lunch.
After lunch, you will be briefed and you will head for a tour to the crater lakes. On your tour to the crater lakes, that is lake katwe where you will have an encounter with the locals who will teach you how they extract salt and how they make a living out of it. Apart from lake katwe, you will visit other lake like lake nyamunuka and many more. A guide transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Depart to Kampala
In the morning, you will have breakfast on the last day of the safari and a guide will meet up with you at the lodge and you will check out. After checking out, a guide will then transfer you park to Kampala but on your way, you will have a stopover at igongo cultural center where you will have lunch and tour briefly around the place. You will then proceed with your journey with another stop over at the equator for pictures. The guide will then drop you back to Kampala where you will proceed to your next destination.
