Detailed Itinerary For The 7 Days Queen Elizabeth And Bwindi Combo Safari
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park
A guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will meet you at your hotel in Kampala. After a brief safari discussion, you’ll be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch.
In the afternoon, go on a 2-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you will have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles and a variety of birds. Afterwards, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive
Start the day with an early breakfast at the lodge. You will then head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a 4-hour morning game drive. During this drive, you may spot zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, elephants and many more.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, stop for a lunch break before continuing to the park. Once you arrive, check into your lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to see crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and a night game drive
After breakfast at the lodge, head to the park headquarters with a guide for a briefing on Uganda chimpanzee trekking. Your guide will take you to Kyambura Gorge, where you will trek for chimpanzees. This may take between about 30 minutes and 4 hours. Once you find them, you’ll spend one hour observing them.
In the afternoon, you will have lunch and afterwards relax at the lodge. In the evening, the guide will take you for a briefing, and after that, you will go for a night game drive of about 2 hours, where you will spot nocturnal animals like lions, leopards, hyenas and many more. Head back to the lodge afterwards for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Breakfast at the lodge, and after, go for a morning game drive of about 3 to 4 hours in the Kasenyi plains. There will be views of elephants, lions, leopards, zebras, and buffalo, among others.
Afterwards, return to the lodge for lunch, check out, and travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before your guide transfers you to the park headquarters for a briefing on Uganda gorilla trekking. You will then head into the forest, where the trek will take about 30 minutes to 7 hours. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, go for a cultural visit to the Batwa community, where you will learn about the ancient hunting and food-gathering skills. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Return to Kampala
After an early breakfast, check out of the lodge. Your guide will drive you back to Kampala and drop you off at a hotel, marking the end of your safari.
