This is a 5 days Mburo and Queen Elizabeth safari that takes you for a wildlife experience to Lake Mburo National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park. This Uganda safari comes with a number of activities like game drives and boat cruises in both Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Parks. You will also have a chimpanzee trek in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the Kyambura Gorge.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will meet and greet with a Chopper Tour and Travel company representative who will brief you about the safari, and then you will set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park from Kampala. You will have an en route lunch on your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and this lunch meal will be had in Fort Portal town after the visit to Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves.
You will leave the hotel in Fort Portal after lunch, and you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will check into a lodge once you arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will then be served dinner, and you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
You will have an early morning breakfast and then head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains for wildlife viewing, and you will spot animals like lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and many more. You will then head back to the lodge after the morning game drive, which will last for about 4 hours. You will have lunch at the lodge, and then the guide will take you for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.
The afternoon boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel will last for 2 to 3 hours, and you will have views of hippos, crocodiles and a variety of bird species. You will then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast, and then the guide will take you for a briefing. After the briefing, you will go for chimpanzee trekking. Chimpanzee trekking will be done at Kyambura Gorge, and you will search for the chimpanzees for about 30 minutes to 4 hours. You will spend one hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them. You will be able to see how they behave and monitor their daily activities. You will then get back to the lodge. You will have lunch at the lodge, and then you will check out.
You will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park, where you will check into a lodge. You will have dinner at that lodge and then retire to bed.

Day 4: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
You will have breakfast, and then you will go for a morning game drive after being briefed at the park headquarters. You will spend about 3 to 4 hours while on a game drive, and you will spot animals like zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and many more. You will then head back to the lodge. You will have lunch at the lodge, and in the afternoon, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo.
The afternoon boat cruise at Lake Mburo takes about 2 hours, and you will spot animals like hippos, crocodiles and birds. You will then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Depart for Kampala
After having breakfast early in the morning, you will be picked up from the lodge by the guide after you are done with checking out. You will start the journey to Kampala. On your way, you will have a stopover at a hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will continue to Kampala, and you will be dropped off at a hotel.
