The 5 days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and lake Bunyonyi safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Western Uganda where you will be able to explore the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves and then meet several wildlife species in Queen Elizabeth national park like the lions, leopards, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, Uganda kob and many more during the game drive and the boat cruise at the Kazinga channel. You will visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and meet the endangered mountain gorillas for about one hour, and also visit the Batwa for a cultural experience. You will conclude the safari with a boat cruise at Lake Bunyonyi for bird watching, exploring some islands and then depart to Entebbe Airport.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe Airport to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Arrival at Entebbe Airport in the morning, and you meet with our representative company guide and briefly go through the 5 days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi safari. The journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park will begin after the briefing, and it will take about 6 to 7 hours. You will have an enroute lunch at a hotel in Fort Portal town and then proceed to Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves. You will explore the caves for about 2 hours and also have a glimpse at the craters near this place. You will get to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening, and you will select a lodge to check in. You will have dinner and you retire to bed m

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
You will have breakfast at the lodge, and the guide will pick you up from the lodge to the park headquarters for a briefing on issues concerning the morning game drive that you will engage in. After the briefing about what to follow during the game drive, you will start the game drive that will be held on the Kasenyi plains for approximately 3 to 4 hours with several eye-catching sights of birds, animals, and landscapes, among others. The guide will drive you back to the lodge for lunch.
At 2 pm, you will be transferred from the lodge to the Kazinga channel for an afternoon boat cruise that will last for approximately 2 to 3 hours as you explore the wonders of this channel connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. You will witness sights of animals on the shores taking water, for example, the lions, elephants and many more. You will spot crocodiles and hippos in the water, and after that, the guide will drive you back to the lodge for your dinner and night’s rest.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and a Batwa cultural experience
Early morning breakfast at the lodge, and then you check out. The guide will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, ab you will arrive at the lodge for refreshment and lunch. You will relax at the lodge, and then in the afternoon, you will be picked up by the guide from the lodge.
You will be transferred to the Batwa community for a Batwa cultural experience about their history, culture and traditions that will be taught to you by the locals that you will meet there. You will get the knowledge on how to prepare and serve their local dishes, and also learn how they hunt and gather their food, tracing back to their ancient days. The guide will drive you back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will have an early morning breakfast, and then you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking and allocation of a gorilla family. You will then start the trek with an armed ranger guide to the forest to search for the gorillas. Depending on their location in the forest, you may take about 30 minutes to 7 hours. You will come across a number of primates and other wildlife species in the forest, like birds and mammals. You will stay with the gorillas for one hour after spotting them, and the guide will return you to the lodge after taking pictures and observing their behaviour. You will have lunch and check out.
You will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, and you will reach there in the evening, therefore, checking into a lodge for dinner and your night stay.

Day 5: Boat ride at Lake Bunyonyi and depart to Entebbe Airport
After having breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, which will take you on a tour to some of the 29 islands on Lake Bunyonyi. You will spot several birds and other wildlife species. You will leave and head to the lodge for lunch. After the lunch meal, you will check out. You will start the journey back to the Airport with a stopover at the equator monument. After taking photos at the equator monument, you will continue to Entebbe Airport to catch your flight.
