This is a tour for 8 days to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi. This tour will begin and end in Kampala, and it will grant you stunning views of the landscapes, nature and various sights along the way to the destinations where you will conduct the Uganda tour. You will have activities like morning game drive, boat cruise and chimpanzee trekking at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Gorilla trekking and an optional Batwa cultural experience at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and a boat cruise at Lake Bunyonyi.

Detailed itinerary of the 5 days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi tour
Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
At the very beginning of the tour, you will be met by a guide at a hotel in Kampala, and you will have a brief interaction before you start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After interacting, you will set off and have a stop over at Mpambire drum makers to get enlightened on how they make these drums, and you will have some time at the equator monument for photos. You will proceed with an enroute lunch in Mbarara town.
After lunch, you will continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check into a lodge where you will stay. Once you settle in, you will have dinner and go to sleep.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On day 2 of the tour, you will head to the park headquarters in Queen Elizabeth National Park after having breakfast at the lodge. You will receive guidelines on information concerning a morning game drive, and then you will head for the drive. At the morning game drive, you will see animals coming from their habitat, and this is when they are very active. You will see animals like leopards, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs, bush pigs, lions, buffaloes and many more. You will also see birds, and after you will return to the lodge.
You will go for a boat cruise in the afternoon at the Kazinga channel that joins Lake George and Lake Edward. You will see hippos, crocodiles and other animals on the shores like the buffalo, elephants and many more. After the boat cruise, you will head back to the lodge and chill and after have dinner and retire to bed.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 3 of the tour, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the guidelines concerning chimpanzee trekking, and then you will leave the park headquarters to Kyambura Gorge to conduct the chimpanzee trek. This experience takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzee, and then you get an hour to spend with them before you leave their habitat.
You will have lunch at the lodge after returning from the chimpanzee trek, and you will check out afterwards. You will then head on the journey with the guide to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have an optional Batwa experience that will expose you to culture-related information about the Batwa people, and after you will head to a lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
On the day before the last day, which is day 4, you will have breakfast at the lodge and leave with the guide to the park headquarters. The guides at the park headquarters will give you the information about a gorilla trek. You will get a guide to accompany you to the gorilla trek, and you will set off with the guide to the forest. Depending on where the gorillas are in the forest, you may take about 1 to 7 hours in search of the gorillas. You will have another hour to spend with gorillas after spotting them. After observing the gorillas in their natural habitat, you will capture pictures and then head to the lodge for lunch.
You will check out of the lodge after lunch, and the guide will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi, where you will check into a lodge. After checking in, you will have some rest and then be given dinner. After dinner, you will retire to bed.

Day 5: Boat cruise and transfer back to Kampala
Before departing back to Kampala on the last day, you will wake up to an early morning breakfast at the hotel, and you will be taken to Lake Bunyonyi for a boat cruise. This boat cruise will take approximately 3 hours, and you will get information about this lake from the guide and also visit the islands of Lake Bunyonyi. These islands are 29 in number, and you will get to learn about the culture of the locals who reside on the islands.
The guide will take you back to the lodge after the boat cruise, and you will check out immediately after lunch. The guide will then drive you back to Kampala and leave you at either a hotel or take you to Entebbe airport for a flight.
