Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On day 1 of the safari, you will be picked up at a hotel in Kampala by a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel. The guide will go ahead and take you through the Uganda safari before you set off. You will start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and you will have a stopover at Amabere ga Nyinamwiru caves for an exploration and head for lunch at a hotel in Fort Portal town. You will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park and get a lodge and check in. At the lodge, you will have dinner at the time of dinner, and you will head to bed and rest.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise at Kazinga channel
On day 2, while at Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have an early morning breakfast before you leave the lodge with the guide to the park headquarters for a briefing. After a briefing on the guidelines on how to carry out a game drive, you will go for the morning game drive, which grants you the opportunity to see some of the big five animals. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to 4 of the Big Five animals, and while on a game drive, you may get the opportunity to see them. You will view the landscapes in this park while on the game drive, and also see the animals rise from their habitats. You will see animals like the lions, leopards, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs and many more. After the drive, you will get back to the lodge and you will relax. You will have lunch and then set off to the park headquarters.
You will be briefed at the park headquarters, and then you will go and participate in an afternoon boat cruise at the channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George, which is the Kazinga channel. You will get to see a variety of wildlife on the banks while they take water, and some of them are the buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs and many more. You will also spot the crocodiles and hippos. The drive may take about 3 hours, and after enjoying the boat cruise, you will get back to the lodge and spend time with the guides. You will then have dinner and go to bed.
Day 3: Transfer to Semiliki National Park
On day 3 of the safari, you will have your breakfast at the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will check out the lodge after having breakfast, and then the guide will transfer you to Semiliki National Park. You will have the rest of the day at a lodge that you will get at Semiliki National Park, and at the lodge, you will be given lunch, dinner, and you will also spend the night there. Queen Elizabeth National Park and Semiliki National Park are found in the Western part of Uganda.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and a visit to the Sempaya hot springs
On day 4 of the safari, you will have breakfast and the guide will lead you to the park headquarters where you will meet the park wardens who will brief you about a chimpanzee trek and you will be told what you ate to do and cannot do while chimpanzee trekking in Semiliki National Park. You will start the trek at 8 am with a ranger guide who will direct you on the way to follow. You will have views of other primates like the red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus and mammals like elephants as you trek. You will trek for about 4 hours, and as soon as you find the chimpanzees, you will have one hour with them in their natural habitat, and you will enjoy their presence as you capture moments. You will then return to the lodge, and you will have lunch. After lunch, you will head for a visit to the Sempaya hot springs.
At the Sempaya hot springs, you will be able to see the female with a view of the water boiling. At this point, you can even boil eggs at these hot springs. You will head back to the lodge after visiting the springs. At the lodge, you will have dinner and have your rest.
Day 5: Depart to Kampala
Day 5 will be the last day of the safari, and you will start with breakfast in the morning, and you will check out of the lodge. You will leave the lodge with the guide, and you will depart to Kampala with a stopover at a hotel for lunch. You will arrive at a hotel in Kampala, and that will be the end of the Uganda safari.
