Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale National Park
When you arrive at Entebbe Airport, you will meet with our company representative guide, and after exchanging greetings, you will immediately embark on the journey to Kibale National Park. You will have a stopover at the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves, and after touring them, you will proceed to a hotel in Fort Portal for lunch. After lunch, you will head to Kibale National Park. You will check into a lodge upon arrival, and you will freshen up. You will have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and a visit to Bigodi wetland sanctuary
Breakfast will be served, and then you will leave the lodge and head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking, and then you will set off. You will start the chimpanzee trek that will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours of searching for the chimpanzees, depending on their location. You will have one hour with them, and then you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After having lunch, you will relax at the lodge, and then you will go for a visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary in the late afternoon. You will have about 3 hours while at the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will spot primates, landscapes and numerous bird species. You will return to the lodge, freshen up, have dinner, and then retire to bed.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a night game drive
Breakfast will be served, and then you will leave the lodge. The guide will drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will check into a lodge at Queen Elizabeth National Park, and lunch will be served. After relaxing, you will leave the lodge in the evening and head to the park headquarters. You will be briefed, and then you will go for a night game drive.
The night game drive will take place in the Mweya peninsula. It will last for about 2 to 3 hours. You will spot nocturnal animals hunting for their prey, and then you will get back to the lodge. You will have dinner, and after you will retire to bed.

Day 4: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
Breakfast will be served, and then you will go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. The morning game drive enables you to witness the rising of the wildlife species in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will then head back to the lodge after 3 to 4 hours of wildlife viewing. You will freshen up, have lunch and relax.
At 3 pm, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. You will also have wonderful sights of aquatic animals, birds and vegetation covers. The boat cruise will last for about 2 to 3 hours, and then you will get back to the lodge. You will have dinner, and then you will retire to bed.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking
Breakfast will be served, and then you will go for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking with an experienced armed ranger guide. You will have about 1 hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them, and you will get back to the lodge. You will have lunch, and you will relax. You will relax at the lodge till evening. You will have dinner and then go to bed.
Day 6: Depart for Entebbe Airport
Breakfast will be served to you at the lodge. You will leave the lodge, and you will start the drive back to Entebbe Airport. You will have lunch in Mbarara town, and then you will continue with the journey. You will arrive at Entebbe Airport in the evening, and you will part ways with the guide, which will mark the end of the safari.
